SHOP UPGRADES!!!

SHOP UPGRADES!!!

In the middle of rearranging, and removing shelving. What a mess!

i am working on numerous shop upgrades to better organize my space, make it cleaner, more efficient, safer, and overall just a better space to spend my time.

Multi-purpose Outfeed Table

An outfeed table supports the stock coming off of the table saw, so it doesn’t want to fall off of the back side of the tablesaw, and lift off the blade at the cut. This outfeed table is a pretty substantial size, 32” x 60”, and will be on workbench casters. This allows me to rotate it 90 degrees to support longer boards I cut. But in addition to this purpose, I am also mounting T-Track in the top to secure workpieces during sanding and assembly. The table will also have a woodworking vice and a moxom vise, to securely hold stock while working with hand tools. I am also installing a Deadman, to help me support larger pieces of stock in the clamp or for assembly. It should improve the quality of my work and work much more efficiently than my current setup.
